These Terms of Service govern the use of TierAlleineZuhause (website tieralleinezuhause.de and the associated mobile application), operated by: Philipp Glass, Hauptstr. 23, 91469 Hagenbüchach, Germany. Email: support@tieralleinezuhause.de
TierAlleineZuhause is a reminder and notification service. It is not a medical device within the meaning of EU Regulation 2017/745 (MDR) and must not be used as a life-saving system.
You are legally required to inform all emergency contacts you register in the service in advance that their personal data (name, email, phone number) is stored and processed, and that they will be contacted in the event of an alarm. Legal basis: Art. 14 GDPR.
Full use of the service requires a paid subscription via Apple App Store or Google Play. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
The service is operated on a best-effort basis. Since notifications depend on internet connectivity, mobile networks, push services and email delivery, the provider cannot guarantee that any given alert will be delivered. No claims for damages arise from service outages or delayed notifications.
The provider is not liable for damages resulting from notifications not being delivered, third-party service failures, errors in user configuration, or use of the service as a substitute for emergency services or medical monitoring.
